My BMX bike
My Aunty's care giver gave me a free BMX bike. I loved it but the colour is pink. I told Dad if we could change the colour and paint them blue. My Dad said "yes" but you had to scrape off all the old pink paints. After I scraped off the pink paint of the BMX bike, Dad said to put newspaper on the parts that don't have to be painted, like the handle and the pedals. After that we took off the wheels. Next we put on the grey undercoat. We waited for 2 hours for the undercoat to dry. After that we started spray painting the blue colour. After another 2 hours we put on another coat of blue and then it was time to go to bed. My dad put the bike into the garage and left it to dry in the night. When I woke up I had to go to school but when I was gone, my dad put black paint on the pedals and he waited for a while for it to dry. After that he put on the wheels and he pumped up the tyres but the back tyre was not pumping up. So he went to the bike shop to fix the tyre and the man from the bike shop fixed it for free. My dad cleaned the bike and later my dad picked me up from school. I was so happy that I hugged my dad. I went on my bike and rode it around the footpath outside my house and it was fun. Now it looked like a brand new bike!
